Fashion Show 2011
Hunterdon Prevention Resources (HPR) hosted its Annual Fall Dinner and Fashion Show on Thursday, October 20, 2011. The event, held at Copper Hill Country Club, included a raffle, both a live and silent auction, and a fashion show. Funds raised from the evening will be used for prevention education programs in the Hunterdon County schools. Coldwater Creek, Jos. A. Bank and Outriggers donated clothes for the fashion show. This year’s models included Board Trustees Megan Jones-Holt, Mike Bokach, James Williams and John Gudelis. HPR staff also participated as models.
Auction items were donated by members of the Board of Trustees and staff of HPR, as well as local community businesses. Harrie Copeland once again did a wonderful job as this year’s auctioneer for the live auction items.
“This event helps HPR to continue to provide its programs to our county youth. HPR reaches approximately 9,000 school age youth, with programs for every grade, such as Cyberbullying, Internet Safety, Teen Safety Night (a program on Prescription Drug Abuse), Binge Drinking , Marijuana Myths and Realities, Life Skills, Bullying Prevention and Conflict Mediation,” stated Christine Venditti, Trustee and event chairperson. “All the Trustees are proud to be affiliated with an organization that stays on top of current trends and gets that information out to the community quickly.”
