Unifying Families
Unifying Families offers programs designed to address family management issues by working with both caregivers and their children to improve interpersonal skills. The four-hour workshop is conducted in two sessions of two hours each. Parents discuss skills necessary to ensure the academic and social successes of their child. The children’s group learns about rule compliance, clear communication and the understanding of feelings.
Upcoming Dates: Monthly from 6:30pm- 8:30pm
One hour workshops are offered to families and scouting groups and are scheduled throughout the year on topics such as internet safety, underage drinking, bullying, and body image.

Strengthen Families Program (SFP)
Description:
The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is a nationally and internationally recognized parenting and family strengthening program for all families.
SFP is a seven-session program focusing on reducing family-related risk factors for adolescent problem behaviors and building protective factors in young adolescent children and their parent/care givers.
This program is appropriate for single parent, blended or first time nuclear families.
SFP has proven to increase communication skills, enhance family bonding while learning tools to promote harmony within the home and we have fun and share a great meal! Strengthening Families runs four times per year. Each session is 7 weeks of sheer fun and learning for both parents and children. Classes typically meet on Wednesdays from 6pm - 8pm.
