Hunterdon Prevention Resources

Anne has over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Anne is currently the Communities Against Tobacco (CAT) Coordinator, and also Program Coordinator at Hunterdon Prevention Resources. Anne has passionately worked to promote healthy choices and non-smoking initiatives in the community of Hunterdon.

To many, Anne is "the face" of Hunterdon Prevention Resources. Anne has, over the years of her career, talked to thousands of individuals and families to provide technical assistance and get them the help they need. She is unfailingly supportive and caring, and this is communicated to all she works with. .

In her spare time Anne enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, and spending time at the beach.

Peggy graduated from Cabrini College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.  For over 17 years Peggy worked as a benefits systems consultant for Towers Perrin, handling much of the training and development needs.  In recent years Peggy has dedicated time to raising her 4 children and volunteering with her Church, the Flemington Raritan PTO’s, and Girls Scouts.

For many years as a volunteer, Peggy encountered and was very impressed with the prevention programs at HPR . She is happy to be working part time as a Prevention Educator and will serve as coalition coordinator for the Drug Free Communities grant.

Lesley graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1988 from Hofstra University.  Lesley has over 20 years experience in the corporate environment. She managed numerous quality management systems including, process controls, auditing, training, process improvement programs, statistical analysis, and facilitation systems.

Lesley manages the Drug Free Communities Grant as well as efforts on Underage Drinking, Strengthening Families program, plus preparing and managing grant requirements.  She is also responsible for the technology side of our business. 

Lesley has been fortunate to live in many parts of the country like Georgia, New York, California, Nevada, Colorado and now New Jersey.  She enjoys her time with her family, coaching youth sports as well as working in our community.

Barbara graduated from York College in 1988 with a degree in Business Management.  Barbara has worked for over 15 years in Retail Management.  She managed all aspects of the operation.

With Barbara's extensive background, she manages our Human Resource Department along with the paperwork required of our grant reporting.  Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, especially going to the beach and watching her children's sporting events.

Regina graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management from Baruch College in New York City. She worked in New York City at Marine Midland Bank and for a small brokerage firm until she moved to New Jersey in 1986. Regina currently works as a Bookkeeper for various companies in the Hunterdon County area. She enjoys spending her leisure time with her family.

Hannah graduated St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor's Degree in Management. After a few exciting years in the business world, she pursued her Master's Degree in a field she felt was more important -- Education.
 

Hannah has educated elementary children for more than 5 years in both private and public schools in Connecticut and New Jersey. After taking some time off from work to be with her children, she has eagerly joined Hunterdon Prevention Resources part-time to fulfill her goals: caring for her family and educating the community in making healthy choices.

Flor is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. She graduated in Business Administration with a Master in Tourism from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. She married and moved to Costa Rica, her husband home country. There she spent 7 years and was actively involved in community activities as part of the International Active 20-30 Club (Rotary Club brother).

Fourteen years ago moved to the Hunterdon area as a result of her husband relocation process with a Pharmaceutical Company. During the first years she decided to raise her three children and as they grow up Flor has been volunteering in her church and non-profit organizations. Last year she decided to pursue a part time work with Hunterdon Prevention Resources. On her free time she loves, hiking, reading and visiting museums.

Se casó y se mudó a Costa Rica, país de origen de su esposo. Allí vivió 7 años y estuvo involucrada activamente en trabajo comunitario con el Club Activo 20-30 (hermano del Club Rotario).

Meredith received a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and a master’s degree from Bank Street College of Education.  In her career she has worked with children ranging in age from infant to elementary school.   This broad experience lead Meredith to her previous position as the Executive Director of a reading and tutorial program in Princeton, New Jersey.   Meredith has joined Hunterdon Prevention Resources with a strong desire to promote healthy development and a positive path for both children and their families. She believes that it is the role of a teacher to provide the scaffold that allows each student to achieve their highest potential.  Instilling a life long love of learning in every student is at the heart of  her highly focused approach to prevention education.   Meredith has lived in Vermont and California and currently lives in Hunterdon County, NJ with her two daughters.  Meredith enjoys a passion for creating and experiencing the arts, family time, reading, and learning.  She also enjoys the outdoors; especially during autumn and visits to the beach.

Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University and is New Jersey certified to teach Preschool, Kindergarten through Eighth grades.  She was a stay -at-home mom for over fifteen years and an active volunteer in the schools and her church.  Lisa entered the workforce several years ago as a Pre-kindergarten teacher in a local nursery school.  She recently joined the staff at Hunterdon Prevention Resources and is happy and excited to be working with children of all ages as a Prevention Educator.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising and reading books.
